Therapy FAQs

What can I expect from therapy at InnerVision?
Therapy is a collaborative process where we’ll explore challenges, thoughts, and emotions to work toward your goals. While therapy can lead to personal growth, it may also involve discussing difficult topics that could temporarily result in emotional discomfort. Together, we’ll create a space for healing and progress.
Yes, InnerVision accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance.
For other insurance providers, clients can pursue out-of-network (OON) reimbursement using a superbill. What is a Superbill? A superbill is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. While I provide the superbill, reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your insurance plan. For more information, please consult your insurance provider.
For private pay clients, sessions are $150 per hour. Sliding scale rates are available for clients experiencing financial hardship and range from $40–$80 per session. Sliding scale eligibility is reviewed every three months with required documentation (e.g., pay stubs).
Yes, telehealth sessions are available for clients who prefer remote therapy. You’ll need a private location, a reliable internet connection, and a secure device for video sessions.
Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or missed appointments will incur a $50 fee.
Repeated late cancellations or missed sessions may result in the termination of services.
You can discontinue therapy at any time. If we determine that my therapeutic approach no longer meets your needs, I’ll provide referrals to ensure a smooth transition to another provider.
